Traditional home health care provides a variety of services to meet the medical needs of patients in the comfort of their own home. We also service community Board & Care and Assisted Living facilities.

Buena Vista's professional medical staff can provide a variety of services. These include, but are not limited to: skilled nursing, Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech and Language therapy, Home Health Aides, nutritional information, Medical Social Workers, wound care and orthopedic rehab.

Understanding Home Health
Buena Vista Home Health provides professional in-home care and support for patients with variety of medical needs. Care is discussed and specialized to meet the patient's needs as prescribed by their community physicians. Families can find comfort in that their loved is being provided with a specialized home care plan.

Nurses, therapists & home health aides will visit the patient’s home following the plan of care implemented by the physician and nursing staff. 24/7 emergency phone support is available to every patient and their family members.

Home Health is for patients with skilled medical needs who are essentially homebound, and have a physician that can certify the need for home care. Homebound status would include anyone who would depend on assistance of nay kind to leave their residence.

Medicare, Medi-Cal and most private insurance companies typically cover Home Health. Please contact our health care consultants and we will be happy to assist.
